Red Cones (5 photos)

The Red Cones are a volcanic landscape feature near Mammoth Lakes, more or less along the John Muir and Pacific Crest Trail. We hiked there from Horseshoe Lake via McLeod Lake after a brief stop at the Twin Lakes Overlook and Lake Mamie.

If you want to know more about the hike please visit Alex’s blog post, he has plenty more information about it.
