We found beautiful displays of wildflowers along Henderson Canyon Road near Borrego Springs in Anza Borrego Desert State Park yesterday. After some attempts at close-ups I mostly used the wide angle lens, and had a lot of fun with it.
As is it often the case with the winter storms, they got blocked by the mountains to the west of the desert for the most part – it was windy, but only occasionally a bit of a drizzle would reach the desert floor. It was a beautiful day out there!

Thank you for the comment. It sure is. It was my first time seeing it and I have to say it’s my favorite among the flowers I saw there. 🙂
You can grow them from bulb or seeds.
Even bulb?! It will be so nice to grow it at home. I plan to go back there this weekend and I should look for the seeds. Thank you! 🙂
