Nice photo. I’ve looked at historical photos of the 1912, Panama-California Exposition and noticed from this same angle that the small tower on the right hand side had a sister tower and building on the opistion side which is now gone and replaced with that newer art building or whatever it is. Did that burn down or have an earthquake problem ? I also notice that no car traffic was allowed in the beginning. I heard rumor that vehical trafic will also be stopped and they will build some new parking structure to the south, is this true ?

Yes as far as I know closing El Prado for vehicle traffic is being discussed. Don’t know about the towers.
