Yesterday morning, our photo club went for a walk at Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve. It was a warm day with Santa Ana weather, but in the shade of the trees walking was pleasant.

Morning at Mono Lake (3 photos)
We stopped at the Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve on the sixth day of our Eastern Sierra Trip. The water was really calm that morning as the wind hadn’t picked up yet.
Lake Mamie Morning (4 photos)
We stopped at Lake Mamie and the Twin Lakes Overlook in the morning before continuing to Horseshoe Lake and a hike to the Red Cones. The first Lake Mamie photo below was made from pretty much the same spot where I also made the night photo. 🙂
Night at Lake Mamie
We’re back from a week-long visit to the Eastern Sierra where we did some hiking and day trips based out of Mammoth Lakes. On the evening of our arrival we had an early dinner and then took a walk with Toni at Horseshoe Lake. The sun was setting and we could easily wait for the stars to come out. At Lake Mamie, it was especially nice to see the stars and Milky Way reflect in the calm water.
Along the Road (3 photos)
Just three photos from along the road. Lake Nacimiento Road and Interlake Road to be precise – Alex wanted to visit Mission San Antonio De Padua, which is nestled somewhere in the hills north of Paso Robles and I made these photos along the way.
